Procedure Attestations

Getting Started with Procedure Attestations

Updated this week

Keeping everyone on the same page is crucial! We’ve added a feature that allows you to request attestations for your procedures. This ensures that your team has read and understood the important documents relevant to their department.

Here is how to set it up and what the process looks like for your team.

How to Enable Attestations

First, you'll need to turn this feature on for your organization:

  1. Head over to Settings and select Organization Profile.

  2. Look for the Procedure Options section.

  3. Check the box to enable attestations.

    • Tip: You can also choose to have user notifications turned on by default here to save a few clicks later!

Sending an Attestation Request

Once a procedure has been approved by the appropriate Department Manager, it's ready for the team.

  • If you enabled the default setting earlier, the option to generate an attestation will be ready to go.

  • You’ll see an option to email the required users. You can deselect this if you want, but sending an email is usually the best way to get a quick response.

  • Who gets it? Any user assigned to that specific department will be required to attest that they have read and understood the procedure.

What Your Team Will See

When you send out a request, your users will receive an email notification.

  1. The Email: They’ll get a friendly message asking them to acknowledge the changes or the new version.

  2. The Action: They simply need to click the View Procedure button inside the email.

  3. The Attestation: Clicking the link takes them directly to a page marked Attestation Required. They will need to click the button there to view the full document and confirm they’ve read it.
