Connecting the "What" to the "How"

One of PolicyCo’s most helpful features is the ability to link your high-level policy articles directly to the specific procedures that support them. Think of it as bridging the gap between theory and practice: mapping a procedure to an article confirms that your policy isn't just words on a page—it has clear, actionable steps attached to it.

It’s also really flexible. You can link multiple procedures to a single policy, ensuring your team has everything they need in one place.

How to Map a Procedure

Ready to connect a procedure to a policy article? Here is how to do it:

  1. Click into the article you want to work on.

  2. Look at the menu on the right side of the article and toggle the Procedures button to "On".

  3. Click Add Procedures.

  4. Search by keyword to find the procedure you need.

  5. Check the box next to that procedure to select it.

  6. Click Close just above the search box.

And you're all set! The procedure is now mapped to your article.

How to Unmap a Procedure

Need to remove a connection? It’s simple:

  • Find the procedure you want to disconnect and just click the X next to it.
