Think of the Viewer as your distraction-free reading zone. It’s a "read-only" version of your policies and procedures, showing you exactly what everyone else in your organization sees without all the editing tools in the way. The best part? Everyone on the team has access to it!
A quick heads-up: If you use the 1Password browser extension, you might notice the Viewer feels a little sluggish. We know that’s frustrating, and we’re already working on a fix to get it back up to speed for you.
How to Switch Views
If your account is set to "Viewer only," you’ll land here automatically when you log in. If you usually start in the Editor, here is how to hop over:
Find your profile: Look for the square icon next to your organization’s name in the top right corner.
Make the switch: Select Switch to Viewer from the dropdown menu.
Heading back? Whenever you're ready to edit again, just click Switch to Editor from that same menu.
