Sequences in PolicyCo are essentially the roadmap for your content—they determine exactly how your articles and procedures are ordered and structured.
Creating Sections Think of sections as your main chapter titles. To turn an article into a section header, simply give it a sequence number that ends in .0.
For example, assigning 1.0 makes that article the header for everything that follows (like 1.1, 1.2, etc.).
It works for sub-sections too—3.5.0 would be the header for 3.5.1 and 3.5.2.
This little formatting trick changes how the article appears in the viewer and in your downloaded documents, making it stand out as a header.
Hiding or Showing Numbers If you prefer a cleaner look, you don't have to display these sequence numbers in your released documents. You can easily toggle them on or off in your Organization Profile Settings.
