Ready to make Claude an expert on your organization's policies? By connecting the Model Context Protocol (MCP) server, you allow Claude to "reach into" PolicyCo and pull real-time answers about your compliance and documentation.
No more copying and pasting long policy text—just ask and receive.
What You’ll Need
Activate the MCP integration under Settings -> Integrations
A Claude.ai account.
How to Connect
Add the MCP Integration: Go to Settings->Integrations. You will see a list of available Integrations. Click the plus sign for MCP. This will move the MCP integration to the Configured section. This only needs to be activated once for any of your users to take advantage of it.
Copy the URL: Copy your unique MCP Server URL where it says Copy Link.
Open Claude, either the app or the web page. I the left sidebar, Click Customize::Connectors.
Click the plus sign at the top: Add Custom Connector.
Authorize: Name the connector "PolicyCo" and paste your PolicyCo URL into the field for Remote MCP server URL and click Add.
This will redirect you to the PolicyCo site and complete the authorization process.
Look for the Green Light Page: Once it’s finished thinking, you should see a screen with a green checkmark ✅. This means the bridge is built!
Put it to Work
Now for the fun part. Open a new chat with Claude and try asking something specific to your team, like:
"List my policies in PolicyCo."
"Do I have any reviews comng up in the next 3 months?"
Claude will now use your actual PolicyCo data to provide accurate, up-to-date answers.
Troubleshooting
If you don't see that green checkmark, double-check that your Server URL doesn't have any extra spaces at the end. Still stuck? Hit us up in the chat!
